Personal experience will vary mostly on how quickly that sandwich is freed from its wrappings before the bread starts to turn soft. In south jersey there is a spot that rivals both Johns and Angelos called Lillo's and is in the same vein, using a high quality sesame roll. Bafflingly, they put the cheesesteak in this box when you order it to go, however, which is just a sauna for the cheesesteak. By the time it gets to its destination the whole thing is mush so you simply can't order Lillos to go.

Disagree with that, I've had some of saltiest and greasy pizza many years ago. It's like the chef thought pizza needed to add lots of salt to everything and I immediately vomited as a kid. You just haven't ran into someone who's done that lol

I literally have a spreadsheet ranking all of the places I've tried. You went to a few okay spots (kinme is excellent) but you really missed out on a TON of great food (also coming from SF which has an amazing food scene). Places to go next time you're visiting: Kingfisher, Wolf In The Woods, Fork Oak, Dos Palmas Cafe, TRUST, Cardellino, Deli Llama, Tratoria Cori, Pomegranate, Cocina De Bario, Long Story Short, Plumeria, Lola 55, Starlite, Tribute Pizza, The Friendly Tavern, Hannah's Gourmet, Thai Time North Park, Muzita, Books & Records, Mabel's Gone Fishing, Khyber Pass, White Rice Bodega, Bico, Dao Fu, Pop Pie Co, Izakaya Masa, and I could go on and on... And if anyone that lives here can tell me where to actually get a good burrito then let me know. Everything I've tried I'm not a huge fan of.

I’m a New Yorker and I always loved dipping my pizza in blue cheese. Ny blue cheese is the best I don’t live there anymore and blue cheese has become non existent for me I became a ranch fan but not on my pizza lol but can’t wait to go to ny and get my blue cheese

Sarita's in New Orleans has the best Empanada you will ever taste. Everything on the menu is exceptional. And the home made salsa and hot sauces are perfect. Sarah the owner is friendly. You will not regret if you are uptown, look them up

I love indian food but my husband isn't a fan, however, he will devour chicken parm. The flavor profiles aren't too too different either. This is totally on my list.

Bruh although theyre differences between franchises , nyc detroit chicago depending on toppings corporate or franchise mom and pop etc however the best pizza ive ever had I completely told the pizza maker how to fine tune it to my perfection . Dont be afraid to be difficult its your money and your food , just dont forget if youre confidently difficult you better make up for it . Typically you wouldnt tip a pizza joint in US but im difficult asf so ill buy a $12 order and give them a $20 . Owner may or may not be my boy since long back lol even more reason
